Ingvar Svensson

Ingvar Svensson ( born April 30, 1944 in Osby, Skåne County ) is a former Swedish politician of the Christian Democrats ( Kristdemokraterna ).

Life

After schooling, he studied philosophy and graduated with a master's from. Svensson was elected in the election to the Swedish Parliament in 1991 in the Reichstag. In these elections, the Christian Democrats were able to improve by 4.2 percentage points and for the first time to move under its own power with 26 seats in the Reichstag. Svensson, who represented the electoral district of Stockholm County, was between 1991 and 1994 a member of the Constitutional Committee, and the temporary member of the nominating committee.

After the defeat in the election to the Swedish Parliament in 1994, when the Christian Democrats lost 3.07 percentage points and 11 of the 26 seats again, Svensson left the Reichstag.

In the Reichstag elections on 20 September 1998, he was again elected deputy and was this after his re- election in 2002 and 2006 to 4 October 2010. During this time he was again consistent member of the Constitutional Committee and deputy and deputy member of some other parliamentary bodies.
