Inlandsvägen

Inlandsvägen (Swedish for " domestic street ") is a trunk road by the Swedish inland of Halland and Gothenburg in the south to Lapland in the north. There is a Inlandsväg Syd, and the "right" Inlandsväg.

Course

The course of the so-called " Inlandsvägen Syd " is the distance Halmstad - Mora on the Riksväg 26

The original course of the Inlandsväg begins, however, in Gothenburg on the southwest coast of Sweden, goes past the Vänern on Mora Lake Siljan - Ostersund - Storuman - Arvidsjaur - Jokkmokk - Gällivare Karesuando at the Finnish border, where the entire route on the European Route 45 leads ( between Gällivare and Svappavaara additionally available as an e 10 ). By the end of 2006, the route of the Inlandsvägen still predominantly the rank of Riksväg had ( Rv 45), but has now been upgraded throughout to Europe road.

History

The name refers to the railway line Inland Railway ( Inlandsbanan ). The marketing of the route is supported by the communities that lie along the way. This attempts to move tourists and professional drivers to take this route. This road is also called " Via Lappia ".
