Storuman

Storuman ( South Sami: Luspie, umesamisch: Lusspie ) is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbotten County and the historic province of Lapland and is the capital of the municipality of the same name.

Storuman has a station on the Inland Railway. At the station the railway line branches off to Hållnäs, but on the held no regular passenger more. By Storuman lead the European Route 12 and the European Route 45 The place is located at the headwaters of Ume älv, at the outlet of the lake Storuman.
