International 806

The International 806 Class is one of the German Sailing Association ( DSV) recognized unit class in sailing. The small keel yacht was drawn in 1974 by Pelle Petterson and built in different shipyards in Denmark and Germany since about 550 times. The boat can be transported on a boat trailer. This, however, a tractor with a trailer load of at least 2200 kg is necessary, also the use of an aluminum trailer here is to save weight already taken into account. The crew consists of three sailors at regattas; outside of races for up to four sailors enough space.

Dissemination

The International 806 is widespread in central Europe and Scandinavia. The largest fleet is based at Lake Starnberg and has a strength of over 100 yachts. Am Starnberger See also find the most races, with annual championships.

The Danish Association of International Class 806 writes per annum from the Danish International Championship.

Equipment

Below deck there are two salon berths and two " dogs berths " ( berths under the cockpit rich aft ). Therefore, the boat is also suitable for families and small trips. The ship can be driven on demand by an outboard motor.
