Isabelle Daniels

Isabelle Daniels ( Isabelle Francis Daniels, married Holston, born July 31, 1937 in Jakin, Georgia ) is a former American sprinter.

At the Pan American Games in 1955 in Mexico City, she won silver in the 60 - meter dash and gold with the U.S. team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

In 1956, she missed at the Olympic Games in Melbourne in fourth over 100m with 11.8 s to 0.1 s the bronze medal. In the 4 x 100 meters relay she gained a bronze medal with the U.S. quartet.

At the Pan American Games in 1959 in Chicago, she won gold over 60 meters and in the 4 x 100 - meter relay and silver over 200 meters.

Outdoors, she was three times U.S. champion over 50 yards, 50 m or 60 m (1955, 1956, 1959) and twice over 220 yards or 200 meters (1957, 1959), in the hall four times over 50 yards and 60 m (1955-1958), and even more than 220 yards (1958).

Isabelle Daniels graduated from Tennessee State University and later became a physical education teacher and coach at the Ronald E. McNair High School in Atlanta.
