Ishmael Miller ( 2011)
Ishmael Miller ( born March 5, 1987 in Manchester ) is an English footballer. Since summer 2011, the striker is the English second division Nottingham Forest under contract. He currently plays on loan at Yeovil Town.
Career
Manchester City
In 2005, the young attacker moved into the professional squad of Manchester City. In the pre-season games on the 2005/ 06 season he made his debut for the Citizens. On his debut game in the Premier League 2005 /06 Miller had to wait until 18 March 2006. Against Wigan Athletic, he was substituted in the 61st minute for Georgios Samaras. The game was lost 0-1. It remained his only use for this season. The following season Miller led to 16 league appearances for the first team, the most of match practice but took over the reserve team, where he was also top scorer at times. Behind striker Darius Vassell, Georgios Samaras, Bernardo Corradi, Stephen Ireland and pledged in February 2008 Emile Mpenza Miller had mostly held only the role of spectator or Jokers.
West Bromwich Albion
In summer 2007, the clubs Preston North End and West Bromwich Albion struggled to win the favor of the striker. On August 15, 2007 announced Bromwich coach Tony Mowbray, borrow Miller for the upcoming season. Already on August 18, was the offensive player made his debut for the new team and contributed to the 2-0 victory in the scoresheet. The goal was scored him seven minutes after coming off the bench against Kevin Phillips. His first Premier League goal was scored by Miller then on 28 October 2008 in the 1-2 defeat against Newcastle United. In December 2008, Miller tore (15 games / 3 goals) in the match against Portsmouth in a collision with goalkeeper David James the cruciate ligament. It turned out for the rest of the season. His team was relegated at the end of the season from the Premier League from 2008/ 09 and so was Miller until January 8, 2010 in the Football League Championship 2009/10 to a league game use. In total, he completed 15 second division matches and scored two goals. After re- return to the Premier League, he played 6 missions before joining 21 January 2011 on loan to Queens Park Rangers.
Nottingham Forest
15 August 2011 The Ishmael Miller signed a three-year contract and moved for 1.2 million pounds for coached by Steve McClaren second division Nottingham Forest. After a disappointing first season for his new club, he moved to the beginning of the 2012/13 season for one season on loan to FC Middlesbrough.
In November 2013, a further change was followed on loan to Yeovil Town.
National
With good performances in the Football League Championship in November 2007, Miller received his first appointment to the U21 England. In the game on November 16 against the Bulgarian U -21 however, he was an unused substitute.
