Isle St. George AVA

Isle St. George AVA is a since August 20, 1982 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives recognized wine region in the U.S. state of Ohio.

Location

The vineyards are located on the island of North Bass Iceland within the Lake Erie. The island is part of the administrative Ottawa County only municipality on the island is Isle Saint George, which has 13 permanent residents, according to census in 2000, live on the island a total of 15 families.
