Istanbul Maltepespor

Spor Kulübü Maltepe or in the short form Maltepespor is a Turkish football club from Istanbul's Maltepe, was established in 1923. Their home games contests the team Hasan Polat City Stadium. The club colors are green, white and red.

History

Establishment and first years

The club was founded in 1923 under the name Maltepe Maltepe Gençler BİRLİGİ or Gençlerbirliği in his home district of Maltepe in the Turkish city Istanbul. Under this name, the team played until the year 1949 in the lower Istanbul amateur leagues. Subsequently, the club name was changed in Maltepe Gençlikspor.
