Siirtspor

Siirtspor ( officially: SK Siirt ) is a football club based in the Turkish city of Siirt, which currently plays in the fourth division of the country.

History

Foundation

The club was founded in 1969 as Siirt YSE and 20 years later renamed Siirt Koy Hizmetleri. In 1999, the name change in Siirt Jetpa SK, before the present name was introduced in 2002.

For the 2000/01 season the club promotion to the Süper Lig, the highest league in Turkey, but he rose again after the season.

Modern Times

The late 2000s and early 2010s, the association faced increasingly serious financial difficulties. The situation came to a head during the Fourth League 2013/14 season to.
