Ivan Babikov

Ivan Babikov, born as Ivan Sergeyevich Babikow (Russian Иван Сергеевич Бабиков / Ivan Sergeevič Babikov ) ( born July 4, 1980 in Syktyvkar, Komi ASSR, Soviet Union ) is a Canadian cross-country skiers of Russian origin, who competed for Russia until 2007.

Babikow lives, first with the help of a sponsor, since 2003 in Canada. He made ​​his debut in the World Cup in December 2005 in the Canadian Vernon in a pursuit race and finished the competition in 14th place only five days later he arrived in Canmore about 15 km in free technique with rank 4 his best World Cup result. Overall, he managed to achieve a top ten result two more times at World Cup competitions.
