Jacqueline Seifriedsberger

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (born 20 January 1991 in Ried, Upper Austria ) is an Austrian ski jumper.

Career

Seifriedsberger began in 1995 with the ski jumping. In 2003 she competed for the Austrian Ski Federation initially at FIS races later in the Continental and most recently in the World Cup. My home club is the SC forest cell. Her debut in the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup she gave on July 23, 2004 in Park City, where she could reach right away with eighth place, a place in the top ten. In the second competition she achieved a good result with the tenth place. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj, Slovenia, they reached the sixth place in the individual competition. On 1 March 2006 Seifriedsberger reached in Zaō first time with the third place on the podium. The 2005/06 season she finished in 16th place in the overall standings. At the Junior World Cup 2007 in Tarvisio she jumped again on the sixth. On 15 August 2007 she was the first to win a Continental Cup competitions in her career in Poehla. In all other competition of the season, they reached a place in the top ten each. In the overall standings of the 2007/2008 season she won at the end of the third. In 2008, she became Junior World Champion in Zakopane. A year later, her at the Junior World Championship 2009 in Štrbské Pleso only the jump to fifth place. In the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec 2009 she reached the 12th place in the individual on the normal hill. In Continental they could not build on the achievements of the 2007/08 season. On 3 December 2011, she made ​​her debut in the World Cup in Lillehammer, finishing in 13th place. During the season 2011/12 she was able to consolidate their results in midfield. At the World Cup in Ljubno she could for the first time on the podium ( third) jump and came in the World Cup standings to 11th place. In the 2012/13 season she succeeded in Sapporo for the first time a second place finish in a World Cup competition before they could celebrate their first victory the next day.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme, she won the bronze medal in the individual event and silver in the mixed competition together with Chiara Hölzl, Gregor Schlierenzauer and Thomas Morgenstern.
