Jakob Maria Mierscheid
Jakob Maria Mierscheid ( born March 1, 1933, Morbach, Rhineland -Palatinate ) is a fictional German politician ( SPD), who should be a member of the German Bundestag since 1979.
Background
Mierscheid was created in December 1979 by the two SPD Bundestag member Peter Würtz and Karl Haehser. When staying at the restaurant of the Bonn parliament building they invented the fictional politicians to honor the previously deceased former SPD deputies and constitutional lawyer Carlo Schmid and create him a successor.
