In the season 2008/ 09 the club gave him for the second half of the season at the local rivals Artmedia Bratislava to play matches. Thus he could only in the first half of the series, in which he scored two Torerfolge, contribute to winning the championship. After his return in the summer he failed with the team in the UEFA Champions League 2009/10 in the third qualifying round of Champions Walk at Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus. In the rest of the season he played with the club to defend the championship title, but this was missed as a table runner behind MŠK Žilina. So he moved the club into the UEFA Europa League 2010 /11. In the Europa League, he failed with Slovan in the third round at VfB Stuttgart, these were his last games for Bratislava. Shortly thereafter Sylvestr moved to Croatia to Dinamo Zagreb. For the 2012/13 season Dinamo striker loaned from the German second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue. There he first drew attention to himself in the DFB Cup. In the first round of the competition, he scored two of the three goals against the favored Eintracht Frankfurt. After satisfactory performance before the winter break Sylvestr no longer met in the second half of the gate. Only with Falko Götz it went up again. At the very first game under the guidance of new coach, he scored two goals. After the end of the season those responsible for the violets were convinced of the talent of the Slovaks. Aue signed him until the end of June 2016. Already at the beginning of the 2013/14 season showed that the decision was correct. He scored in the first two league games three goals and helped the Violets crucial to a good start.
