Arvydas Novikovas

Arvydas Novikova ( born December 18, 1990 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian footballer. The striker stands since 2013 with FC Erzgebirge Aue in the 2nd Bundesliga under contract.

Career

In 2008, Novikova signed a contract with the Scottish tradition club Heart of Midlothian. His debut for the team from Edinburgh he gave in the final game of the 2008/09 season against Celtic Glasgow when he was substituted in the 51st minute for David Templeton. In the summer of 2010, the 19 -year-old young striker signed a new contract with the Hearts, which ran until 2013.

For the 2013/14 season Novikova joined free transfer to the German second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, where he signed a contract until 30 June 2016.

At the age of only 16 years Novikova made ​​his debut for Lithuania U21. His debut for the A national team of Lithuania he was against Ukraine on 25 May 2010 in Kharkiv.
