Jakub Wawrzyniak

Jakub Wawrzyniak (* July 7, 1983 in Kutno, Poland ) is a Polish footballer. He currently plays for the Polish first division side Amkar Perm.

Club career

In the Polish Ekstraklasa Jakub Wawrzyniak debuted on 20 March 2004 for Świt Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki against Wisła Kraków (1:2). His other stations in the top Polish league were previously Widzew Łódź and Warsaw Legia. From January to July 2009, he was awarded to Greece for Panathinaikos Athens. However, the employment relationship was disbanded after it was announced that Wawrzyniak has taken means that are on the doping list. He was then blocked by the Greek Association for 1 year and returned to Legia Warszawa. There, too, he was locked in the first half of the season 2009/10.

National

Wawrzyniak debuted on 6 December 2006 in the match against the United Arab Emirates for Poland. The Polish national team coach Leo Beenhakker also nominated him for the 2008 European Championship in Austria and Switzerland.
