College

Magloire played for the Kentucky Wildcats ( University of Kentucky ) and won in 1998 with his team to the NCAA Men 's Division I Basketball Championship. As he moved from college to the NBA, he was the player with the most blocks in the history of the college with 268

NBA

New Orleans / Charlotte Hornets

Magloire was selected in the 2000 NBA Draft as the 19th pick by the Charlotte Hornets. In the first two seasons in Charlotte Magloire had the role of a reserve player, but after moving the team to New Orleans in his third season with the Hornets, he was an important part of his team, scored in all 82 regular season games in which he played all from the beginning, average 10.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. In the 2003 /04 NBA season he improved again and was appointed because of his performance ( 13.6 points, 10.3 rebounds per game ) in the NBA Eastern Conference All-Star team, in which he scored 19 points in 21 minutes of play. Magloire was only the second Canadian Steve Nash, who was ever appointed to an All-Star team in the NBA.

Milwaukee Bucks

He was traded for Desmond Mason, a First Round pick in the NBA Draft in 2006 and additional money to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2005.

Portland Trail Blazers

2006 Magloire for Steve Blake, Ha Seung -Jin and Brian Skinner was named to the Portland Trail Blazers getradet.In his NBA career Magloire had been almost an average of 10 points, but could in his first 20 games as a Trail Blazer not this brand reach. New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets took Magloire on 17 July 2007 under contract. In the 2007 /08 NBA season he hung up just 1.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

On February 26, 2008, he took over the Dallas Mavericks as a backup for their center Erick Dampier under contract.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat took him 2008 for the least amount of money on, as they were allowed.

Toronto Raptors

On December 9, 2011 it took over the Toronto Raptors under contract. Magloire became the first Canadian player who played for the Toronto Raptors. For the 2012/2013 season his contract on the part of the Raptors, however, was dissolved.
