James Godday

James Godday ( born January 9, 1984 in Kaduna, Nigeria ) is a Nigerian sprinter who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, he took up in the Nigerian 4 x 400 - meter relay. Together with Musa Audu, Saul Weigopwa and Udo- Obong Enefiok he won the bronze medal in 3:00,90 minutes behind the teams from the United States and Australia. Godday also launched in the 400 -meter run, reaching the semi-finals here.

At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 and at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, he reached the 400 -meter run, respectively, the semi-final round. In the Africa Championships in 2006 in Bambous he was about the same distance fifth. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he reached the semi-finals in the 400m back. A Nigerian 4 x 400 - meter relay team came not stop there.
