Jamie Hepburn

Jamie Hepburn ( born May 21, 1979 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party ( SNP).

Hepburn attended Hyndland Secondary School in Glasgow and the University of Glasgow. Between 2002 and 2007, Hepburn was an assistant of Mr Alex Neil and took effect in 2005 at the council elections for the Glasgow District Firhill, but could not prevail.

For the first time Hepburn stepped on to national elections for the lower house elections in 2005. He represented the constituency of Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East, he could not decide against the Labour candidate Rosemary McKenna for themselves. For the Scottish Parliament elections in 2007 was a candidate for the constituency Hepburn Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, but could not prevail against the Labour candidate Cathie Craigie himself. However, he was placed on the fourth rank of the Regional Evaluation of the SNP for the election Region Central Scotland and moved due to the election results in the Parliament. In the 2011 parliamentary elections Hepburn ran again for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, and this time won the direct mandate to me well ahead of Craigie.
