Jan August Hendrik Leys

Hendrik Baron Leys (Jean Auguste Henri Leys ) ( born February 18, 1815 in Antwerp, † August 25, 1869 ) was a Belgian painter and etcher.

Life

Leys worked from 1829 to 1832 in the studio of his brother Ferdinand de Braekeleer and brought 1833 in Brussels an image battle between a French grenadier and a Cossack, to the exhibition.
