Jan Kees de Jager

January Cornelis (Jan Kees ) de Jager ( born February 10, 1969 in Chapel (Zeeland) ) is a Dutch politician of the party Christian Democratisch Appèl (CDA ) and was from 2010 to 2012 Finance Minister of the country.

Life

22 February 2007 until 23 February 2010 he was State Secretary of Finance. As of February 23, 2010, he was Finance Minister in the Cabinet Balkenende IV and since 14 October 2010 at the Cabinet Rutte I. From June 17 2010 to October 14, 2010, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General.

From 1992 to 2007 he has been director of an IT company.

De Jager has studied business administration at the University of Economics and Economic Sociology and Nyenrode Business Economics and Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
