Jan Novák (ice hockey)
Mr. Novák (born 9 February 1979 in Havlíčkův Brod, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech professional ice hockey hockey league is since December 2012 when the EC Graz 99ers in the Erste Bank under contract.
Career
Mr. Novák comes from the offspring of BK Havlíčkův Brod. About the Juniors of HC Olomouc he came 1997 HC Slavia Prague, for in about 450 extra league games he got to 2006 on the ice. In 2003 he was the first time Czech champion with Slavia. 2004 and 2006 was followed by two vice- championships, before joining the Ak Bars Kazan in the summer of 2006. After a year in the Russian Super League, where he won the IIHF European Champions Cup with Kazan, he was engaged by Kärpät Oulu from the Finnish SM- liiga. About the Swedish Elitserien club Skellefteå AIK in the spring of 2008 he came back to Slavia Prague back and won with his old club once again the Czech Championship. In March 2009, Novák was loaned to the BK Mladá Boleslav, with whom he reached the league. After that he was taken from Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg from the KHL under contract, but returned in October of the same year to the Czech Republic back. In the following one and a half years, he was standing by the HC Kometa Brno under contract.
For the 2010/11 season changed Novák within the Extraliga for HC České Budějovice, for whom he played until 2012, before he was hired by the SHC Fassa.
In December 2012, the EC Graz 99ers were to his new employer.
Internationally
For Novák Czech Republic took part in the 2004 World Series, where he finished fifth with his team. He had two assists in seven games. Overall, he has played more 34 matches in which he scored four goals.
