Jan-Philipp Kalla

Jan- Philipp Kalla ( born August 6, 1986 in Hamburg ) is a German footballer who plays for FC since 2003, St. Pauli. His preferred position is that of the central defender or defensive midfielder. Alternatively, he occasionally plays as a full back.

Career

Kalla began his career at SC Concordia of 1907 and at Hamburg SV. In 2003 he moved to FC St. Pauli, where he was first in the U19 Bundesliga and in 2005 was used in the second team. On 12 May 2006 he played his first game with the first team of FC St. Pauli when he was a substitute in Regional game against the second team of the 1st FC Cologne. In the year of the Hamburg Masters 2006/ 07 Kalla made ​​a single game, he came only in the Oberliga Nord for the reserve for use. Nearly two years after his first game, on 6 May 2008, Kalla came to his second outing for FC St. Pauli, when he helped in the second division against 1 FC Kaiserslautern over the full distance.
