Jane Curtin

Jane Therese Curtin ( born September 6, 1947 in Cambridge, Massachusetts ) is an American actress.

Life and career

Jane Curtin was born as the daughter of Mary Constance and Joseph Curtin, who owned an insurance agency. She was educated as Roman Catholics. She attended Elizabeth Seton Junior College and Northeastern University in Boston.

In April 1975, she married Patrick Lynch. Their daughter came in 1983 to the world.

Her breakthrough reached through her ​​appearances on Saturday Night Live, an American comedy show in which some well-known actors had their breakthrough. Furthermore, she played from 1984 to 1989 in the series Kate & Allie the role of Allison " Allie " Lowell, a single mother.
