Janet MacLachlan
Janet MacLachlan ( born August 27, 1933, New York City, New York, † October 11, 2010 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.
Life
MacLachlan received in 1955 at Hunter College a bachelor's degree in psychology. In 1962, she made her Broadway debut in Tiger, Tiger Burning Bright.
Her debut on television in 1965 shows it with two appearances in the television series Alfred Hitchcock. In 1967, she played the Charlene Masters in an episode of Star Trek and 1968 had played the role of Celia Baxter in an episode of The Invaders.
In the 1970s she appeared in numerous television shows as a guest actress, such as in Love Thy Neighbor (1973 ), Police Story (1974 ), The Six Million Dollar Man (1975) Wonder Woman (1977) and Friends (1979 ). In the 1980s, she had among other roles in the television series Cagney & Lacey ( 1982-1987 ), Quincy (1983 ), Hill Street Blues (1984 ), California Clan (1985) and Murder, She Wrote ( 1985-1994 ). In the 1990s, she sat down next to the other series Look, Home Improvement (1995) and Murder One part (1996-1997).
Films in which she played include Black Power (1968), Change of Mind (1969 ) ... tick ... tick ... tick ... (1970) Halls of Anger ( 1970), McGee, the Tiger ( 1970), the Man (1972 ), Maurie (1973 ), the Tightrope (1984 ), Murphy's Law (1986 ), the Boy who Could Fly (1986 ), On the Edge of the Night ( 1994), Pinocchio - doll of Death ( 1996) and the 13th Floor - Are you what do you think? (1999).
On October 11, 2010 MacLachlan died at the age of 77 years at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles. She lived in the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles, leaving behind a daughter.
