Jani Tuppurainen

Jani Tuppurainen ( born March 30, 1980 in Oulu) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in JYP Jyväskylä in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Jani Tuppurainen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Kiekko - Oulu, in which he was active until 1999. He then played one and a half years for the Chicago Freeze in the North American Junior League North American Hockey League, before he returned for also one and a half seasons for his hometown club Kiekko - Oulu, with whom he took part in the match operation of the third-rate Suomi- sarja. From 2002 to 2005 the winger for Hokki Kajaani ran in the second Finnish league, the Mestis on. He also came in the 2002/03 season to eight missions as a Players out on loan for Kärpät Oulu.
