Kiekko-Laser

Kiekko laser was a Finnish ice hockey club from Oulu, which was created from the merger of the clubs Kiekko - Oulu and laser HT 2005. From 2010, the first men's team in the Mestis belongs to before the club filed for bankruptcy in December 2011 and the game stopped working. Their home games of laser graduated from the team in the 6,614 -seat Oulu Energia Areena.

History

After the 2004/ 05 season merged the two men's teams of the clubs Kiekko - Oulu and laser HT, both in the Suomi- sarja - the third league - played to Kiekko laser. However, the youth teams of clubs remained with their tribe clubs.

In 2010 the club won the championship of the Suomi- sarja and was allowed to participate in the relegation matches for Mestis. In the deciding match to the rise of K-Laser Rovaniemen Kiekko defeated 4-2 and rose to the Mestis. In December 2011, the club went bankrupt and ceased the operation of gambling. The entire squad players including coaching staff was exempted without notice.
