Jannik Bandowski

Jannik Bandowski (born 30 March 1994 Korbach ) is a German footballer who currently stands at Borussia Dortmund under contract.

Career

Clubs

Bandowski began his career at the local clubs SC blue-yellow Korbach and TSV Korbach, the SC Paderborn 07 was aware of him in 2009, and brought him into the club. Due to its good performance some professional clubs expressed interest in Bandowski and so it was that he moved to the youth department of Borussia Dortmund in 2011. There he played with the A- youth in the U-19 League and finished second in the 2011/12 season in fifth place in this. In the following, he participated with his team at the NextGen Series, a new European club competition for U-19 teams. However, one difference in the group stage already, in the group with Rosenborg Trondheim, Inter Milan and Liverpool they finished with five points from six matches, the last place.

Turn of the year he was inducted into the extended squad of the second team to gain some match practice and experience. On January 26, 2013 Bandowski completed his debut in the professional field as he was substituted in the 2-2 draw against Wacker Burghausen in the 57th minute for Marcel Halstenberg. However, it will be used mainly to mid-April in the A- youth, to prepare for his upcoming final exams.

For the 2013/14 season Bandowski moved up into the senior squad. In November 2013 Bandowski extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 30, 2017.

National

On September 6, 2013 Bandowski first played for a DFB team. In the 2-0 win over Poland in the selection Pfullendorf, as part of an "International round " (with Italy, Poland and Switzerland ), he was in to replace Patrick Schorr, another U-20 debutants for the second half.
