Mats Hummels ( 2012)
Mats Julian Hummels ( born December 16, 1988 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German football player. Hummels plays since the beginning of 2008 with Borussia Dortmund and running on there as a central defender; He is the player of the German national team.
Childhood and youth
Mats Hummels came in 1988 as the son of a sports journalist Ulla HolthofF and soccer player Hermann Hummels to the world. He grew up in the Rhine -Main region, where his younger brother Jonas was born two years after him. After father Hermann had gone as a youth coach for FC Bayern Munich, the family moved to Munich.
