Jared Palmer

Jared Eiseley Palmer ( born July 2, 1971 in New York City, New York ) is a former American professional tennis player. He won in his career two Grand Slam victories in the men's doubles and two in mixed doubles. In 2000, he was world number doubles.

Life

Palmer studied at Stanford University, where he played from 1989 to 1991 as part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and in the first year won the All-American Collegiate Champion. After the end of the study, he began his professional career.

During his career he won 28 doubles titles. His greatest successes were the victories at the 1995 Australian Open and 2001 Wimbledon. In addition, he stood in the doubles final of Wimbledon in 1999 and at the U.S. Open 2001. His two Grand Slam titles in mixed doubles, he won in 2000, with Rennae Stubbs, he won the Australian Open with Arantxa Sanchez Vicario and the U.S. Open.
