Jasmine Rosalia Ouschan (born 10 January 1986 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian snooker player.
Career
Your first steps on the pool table she made at the age of three years. Equipped with Cue and a stool was shown early at their talent. Her first big success was the World Championship in the Under-18 girls in 2004. 2005 she won the tournament and also took the European championship in 9-Ball and 14 and one of the ladies endless and the 7th World Games in Duisburg.
In 2006 she won two European Championships (8 -Ball and 14 and 1 continuous) and a 3rd place in the Women's World Championship in 9-Ball and the world rankings guide. Also at the European Championships 2007, she defended her European title in 14 and 1 endless and was invited as the only woman for the World Pool Masters 2007, but where she was eliminated in the first round. In February 2008 she made the first female player to qualify for an official 8-Ball Men's World Championship and made it to the round of the last 32
In the men's 14 and 1 World Cup 2008 she also qualified and retired there until the semifinals, after they could throw among others defending champion Oliver Ortmann from the tournament before. At the 2008 European Championships she won a title in the (8- ball) and the bronze in 9- ball and 14 / first Also for the first official men's 10-Ball Championships she was able to qualify and stood there after all the preliminaries.
When snooker championship 2009, she won the title in 9- ball, 8-ball, as well as silver in the 14 and 1 endless. In the 2009 inaugural 10 - Ball Women's World Cup, they made it to the semi-finals. On the 8th World Games in Kaohsiung 2009 confirmed its good performance in 2005 and finished second by a slim 8:9 - final defeat by the British Allison Fisher.
When snooker championship 2010, she won all four titles, 14 & 1 - endless, 10, 8- Ball and 9- Ball competition. Not least because of this achievement, she was awarded in April 2010 with the Golden Order of Merit of the Republic of Austria. In 2010 she won the WPA 10 - Ball Women's World Cup and their first world championship. The EM 2011 again brought three titles; only in the 8- ball she already retired from the quarter-finals. In 2012 she won the WPBA Tour Championship.
Throughout her career, she also won 28 Austrian state championships (3 x U18 male, 7 x U18 Female, 18 x Ladies Class ) and 11 girls - European champion ( U18). Her brother Albin Ouschan is also a successful snooker player.
