JaVale McGee

JaVale McGee ( born January 19, 1988 in Flint, Michigan ) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA.

High School and College

The son of Pamela McGee, an All-American basketball player who has played in the WNBA for the Los Angeles Sparks and Sacramento Monarchs, attended Detroit Country Day High School and the Providence Christian High School in Hales Franciscan High School before moving to Chicago, Illinois changed. For the University of Nevada, Reno, he played in the starting lineup as a center. After his second year of college he decided to try it in the NBA.

Washington Wizards (2008-2012)
