Jeff Rona

Jeffrey Carl " Jeff" Rona ( born March 3, 1957 in Culver City, Los Angeles, USA) is an American film score composer.

Biography

Rona studied world music as well as concert and orchestral composition. He started his career mainly as a Synthesist and works closely with Hans Zimmer and Mark Isham together. The early 1990s he was involved as a technical assistant at a number of films. With his own band " Luxurious " he dedicated to electronic music.

Since the late 1990s, he was allowed to write the soundtrack for big movies. So in 2001 for " Exit Wounds ". It leaves the end of 2002 his previous employers Media Ventures and founded his own project " Silkscreen Music". He also write the monthly column " The Reel World " for the U.S. edition of the magazine " Keyboards ".
