Jena Malone
Jena Malone Laine ( born November 21, 1984 in Sparks, Nevada ) is an American actress, film producer and musician.
Life and career
Jena Malone was born in Nevada. With her single mother lived in a total of 27 locations in the vicinity of Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, times, also in the caravan or the family car. Already with 10 years Malone wanted to be an actress. Since the family had nothing to lose, she moved with her mother to Los Angeles to begin the acting career. After a few months, she received both a role in Michael Jackson's music video for Childhood, as well as a guest appearance in an episode of Chicago Hope.
My film debut was in 1996 in Malone age of twelve as an abuse victim in the drama Schutzlos - Bastard Out of Carolina, directed by Anjelica Huston. The following year she is in the lead role of the television production Ellen Foster the fate of an orphan girl Represent preferably further especially dramatic roles and avoid shallow comedies. A wider audience, she was known on the side of Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie Donnie Darko.
Due to their preference for more demanding roles to Malone moved preferably in the independent scene. In American Girl, she served alongside her starring role for the first time as co-producer. In the following years, she worked with the likes of Vince Vaughn, Ben Foster, Woody Harrelson and Keira Knightley.
In 2013 she took over the role of Johanna Mason in the science fiction film The Hunger Games - Catching Fire.
