Jennifer Holt
Jennifer Holt ( born November 10, 1920 in Hollywood, California, † September 21, 1997 in Dorset, England; actually Elizabeth Marshall Holt ) was an American actress.
Jennifer Holt was born as the daughter of actor Jack Holt and his wife Margaret Woods in Hollywood, California. She and her brother Tim both made career as an actor.
Her film debut was in 1941 under the stage name Jacqueline Holt in a Western Hopalong Cassidy with. During the 1940s she starred in 47 other films, mostly Western, with, where she appeared on the side of cowboy stars such as Lash LaRue and Johnny Mack Brown. Holt turned her last film in 1949 and then moderated as a second host in 1950 the television show Panhandle Pete and Jennifer, but of which only one season was produced. During the 1950s, they had occasional small roles in Western series like The Gabby Hayes Show and Tales of Wells Fargo.
Although the popularity of Western films declined during the 1970s, to the fans of this genre, the Western film festivals have become increasingly popular. There Holt opportunity made appearances as a guest star. Jennifer Holt was married twice times, but both marriages ended in divorce. Her second husband was the actor William Bakewell. She lived for a time in Mexico and died in 1997 in Dorset, England.
