Jennifer Warren

Jennifer Warren ( born August 12, 1941 in New York City, New York) is an American actress and director. In the 1989 which won the Oscar documentary short film You Do not Have to Die, she was co-producer. She became famous in the 1970s by their leading roles Slap Shot and The hot track.

Life and work

Warren was born in New York's Greenwich Village, the daughter of dentist Barnett Warren and actress Paula Bauer Smith.

She participated in the HB Studio in Greenwich Village acting classes and pursuing a career as a stage actress on Broadway and in prestigious regional theaters. For her role in 6 Rms Riv Vu, she received the 1973 Theatre World Award.

Warren has appeared in over twenty films and TV movies starring roles, among them Slap Shot, The hot track, Fatal Beauty, and another man, another woman. In addition, she appeared in guest and supporting roles in several television series.

As part of a Directing Workshop for Women at the American Film Institute short film Point of Departure, the Warren produced and in which she directed was born. The film won a CINE Golden Eagle in 1982.

Today, Warren is a senior lecturer at the USC School for Cinematic Arts.

She was married from 1964 to 1969 with Fritz DeBoer. From their 1976 closed second marriage to the late 2011 television producer Roger Gimbel Warren has a son named Barnett.
