Jensen C-V8

The Jensen C- V8 was a sports car in the GT class, which was built in 1962-1966 by the British car manufacturer Jensen.

He was the successor to the 1955-1963 built in different versions Jensen 541 and had this as a body made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, which built on a tubular frame. Unlike the competitors Aston Martin Jensen grabbed the drive train of proven large-scale technology. For use were large-volume eight-cylinder V- engines and transmissions from Chrysler.

The shoe was designed by Jensen 's chief designer Eric Neale and was at the time controversial. In particular, the striking vehicle's front with dual headlights was the center of criticism from customers and automotive press.

A total of 500 vehicles were produced in the five-year construction period. Here, the C- V8 underwent two facelifts, which are referred to as Mk II and Mk III.
