Jerusalem Affairs Minister of Israel

The Minister for Jerusalem Affairs ( Hebrew שַׂר לעִנְיָינֵי יְרוּשָׁלַיִם ) is a random portfolio in the Israeli cabinet.

It was first under the 24th Government of Israel Yitzhak Shamir founded on 27 November 1990 Abraham Werdiger, who was working as a deputy minister, although Awner Chai Shaki served as Minister without portfolio for Jerusalem affairs since 1988. However, the post of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was abolished on 31 December 1992.

It was formed in 2001 under new Ariel Sharon. Since 2005, this task is performed by the Minister without portfolio.
