Jeżów Sudecki

Jeżów Sudecki ( German Grunau ) is a village and seat of the rural community in the powiat Jeleniogórski of Lower Silesia, Poland Voivodeship. It is located three kilometers north of the city of Jelenia Góra.

History

Jeżów Sudecki was originally a place of gold and silver graves, but the ore was discontinued after the Thirty Years' War. In their place, the craft and the arts and crafts, weaving and agriculture. The place was known mainly by the founded in 1921 Segelflugschule Grunau, after which the Grunau Baby is named. Today, the site mainly from tourism is alive.
