Jiang Tianyi

Jiang Tianyi ( born February 28, 1988 in Jinan ( China) ) is a native of China table tennis player from Hong Kong. In 2012 he took part in the Olympic Games.

Career

Tianyi Jiang was born in China. Under the flag of this nation, he appeared at the Youth Asian Championships in 2004, where he was in double with Zhang Jike and with the Chinese team first. From 2005 he launched internationally for Hong Kong.

In 2009, he arrived at the Asian Championship in a double to the quarterfinals. In the same year he first participated in the World Cup. In 2010 he was at the World Cup with Hong Kong men's team fifth. Successful also in double he was Pro Tour Grand Finals, where he won at the ITTF with Tang Peng. In 2012 he qualified on the world rankings for the Olympic Games, where he Alexei Smirnov (Russia) and Kim Hyok -bong reached the quarterfinals after wins, in which he defeated Olympic champion Zhang Jike later.
