Jim Pla

Jim Pla (born 6 October 1992 in Béziers ) is a French racing driver.

Career

Like most racers began planning his career in karting, where he was active until 2006. In 2007, the Frenchman at the age of 14 years, made ​​his debut in Formula racing in the French Formula Renault Campus. He won a race and finished the season in sixth place overall. 2008 Pla was committed by DAMS for the European Formula BMW. With two fourth places for the best results, he finished at the end of the season 18th overall rank. 2009 denied the young gun for DAMS his second season in the Formula BMW Europe. The Frenchman won four races in a row and finished the season ranked fifth in the drivers' standings. He also appeared on a race the Formula BMW Pacific.

2010 Pla was committed by ART Grand Prix for Formula 3 Euro Series, in which he made ​​his debut at the age of 17 years. With a win, he finished the season tenth overall.
