Jiřína Nekolová

Jirina Nekolová ( born December 30, 1931 in Prague, † 25 May, 2011 Kolin ) was a former Czech figure skater who started in a single run for Czechoslovakia.

Nekolová took in the years 1947 to 1950 all the world, and from 1947 to 1949 in all European championships. At the European Championships in 1947, she was fifth and fourth in 1948 and 1949. At the World Championships, she was tenth in 1947, 1949 and 1950 Fourth Eighth. Her biggest success came in the World Championship 1948 in Davos. She won the bronze medal behind where Barbara Ann Scott and Eva Pawlik. Your single Olympics she finished in 1948 in St. Moritz in fourth place, just ahead of her compatriot and rival Alena Vrzáňová, the World Champion of the following two years. In 1956, she appeared in Gold in a Supporting Role in Eisrevuefilm symphony.
