The airport Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong, Jiuzhaigou Airport also (Chinese九寨沟 机场) and Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport is a regional airport in Sichuan Province of the People's Republic of China and was opened in 2003. Located 3,448 meters above sea level, it is considered by the Airports Qamdo and Lhasa as China's third- highest-altitude airport.

As early as 2005 passengers were checked over a million, so that was in June 2006 pushed the second stage of expansion of the airport and completed in 2007. In 2011, the third stage was completed, expanding to an annual maximum capacity of 3 million passengers. Construction of the airport allows the tourist development of the nearby nature reserves Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The airport is regularly served by Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines. There are also seasonal charter flights from Chengdu Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Hainan Airlines and other Chinese airlines.

Transport links

Because of the isolated location of the airfield there is no public transport. Shuttle mini- buses and taxis waiting at the arrival of the aircraft at the terminal on the passengers and then take the national parks.
