Joe Cottrill

Joe Cottrill (actually William Cottrill ;) ( born October 14, 1888 in Woodhouse, South Yorkshire, † 26 October 1972 in Sheffield ) was a British middle and long distance runners.

In the team race over 3000 meters of the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he came to sixth place and won with the British team bronze. About 1500 m he left in the run, in the cross-country running, he did not reach the goal.
