Joe Lally

Joe Lally ( born December 3, 1963 in Silver Spring, Maryland ) is an American bassist. He is best known for his work with the band Fugazi. In 2002, he joined the band The Black Sea by the two musicians Shelby Cinca and Jason Hamacher. These named but later into Decahedron and released an EP and an album. Then Lally came back out from the band. In 2004 he founded along with John Frusciante and Josh Klinghoffer, the band Ataxia. They issued two albums Automatic Writing (2004) and AW II ( 2007).

In 2006, he played solo shows at schools and released his first solo album There To Here. In 2007 he toured with the band Capillary Action by the United States. In the same year he released his second solo album, Nothing Is Underrated. In 2011 he toured Italy, France and Switzerland, and published on 26 April of the same year his third album, Why Should I Get Used to it.
