Joey McFarland

Joey McFarland ( born April 30, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American film producer.

Life

Already McFarland's mother showed week in Louisville films like Casablanca, Gone with the Wind and The Godfather. Thus his enthusiasm for films was piqued and he decided to make early films. He attended DeSales High School and graduated and then the University of Louisville. McFarland is co-founder and vice president of the film production company Red Granite Pictures. 2011 brought him the magazine Variety in the list of the top 10 producers.

On June 18, 2013 it was announced that McFarland produce with his company Red Granite Pictures, the sequel to the film Dumb and Dumber by Peter and Bobby Farrelly and expected to release on November 14, 2014 will.

His biggest success is his work as a producer on Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, for which he was first nominated for an Oscar.
