Johan Claesson

Johan Claesson (born 12 August 1981) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder, who played for Gefle IF almost a hundred games in the Allsvenskan, played in his career in Sweden and for the Portland Timbers in the USL First Division.

Career

Claesson first played in the youth at Hagby IK. From there, the midfielder went to the youth department of IK Sirius. Later he made his debut for the club in the men's field in the third-class Division 1

2005 moved Claesson in the Allsvenskan to Gefle IF. In the club, who had managed to climb out of the Superettan, he was initially used mainly as a substitute, during his debut season in Sweden's Elite series, however, he fought his way to a permanent place.
