John James (actor)
John James ( born April 18, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; actually John James Anderson ) is an American actor.
Life
After an initial role in the series Fantasy Iceland John James auditioned for the role of Steven Carrington in the new series Dynasty ( Dynasty ) before. The producers awarded the role of Al Corley, but they created the new role of " Jeff Colby " for James. Although applied only as a supporting role, John James convinced, so that the role of Jeff received an ever wider framework.
1985 decided successful producer Aaron Spelling even to make a spin-off of its hit series. The focus was on Jeff's family, the Colbys of California. World stars such as Charlton Heston, Katharine Ross and Barbara Stanwyck were hired for. Despite intensive advertising the new series The Empire was - The Colby's 1987 set. John James was allowed to return in the Dynasty until the glamor soap was eventually discontinued in 1989.
