Jordan Luke Rhodes (born 5 February 1990 in Oldham, Lancashire ) is a Scottish footballer who is since 2012 at Blackburn Rovers under contract.
Ipswich Town (2007-2009)
Jordan Rhodes made his debut in professional football 22 December 2007 against Burnley in the Football League Championship 2007/ 08 for Ipswich Town. Previously, he had already contested 2007 four league games for the club unterklassigen Oxford United on 10 October and 10 November. In the second division he graduated from Ipswich until the end of season eight matches and scored 9 April 2008 in the match against Cardiff City his first and only league goal. After two games in the Championship 2008/ 09 he played from 12 September to 31 December 2008 on loan for the English fourth division Rochdale AFC, scoring two goals in five games. From 23 January to end of the season played Rhodes (14 games / 7 goals) for also starting in the fourth division FC Brentford.
Huddersfield Town (2009-2012)
On 31 July 2009 it undertook the third division Huddersfield Town and Rhodes equipped with a four-year contract. In the Football League One 2009/10 the club from Huddersfield reached the sixth place play- offs, but lost in the first round against FC Millwall. Blackburn Rovers (2012 - )
Shortly before the end of the exchange period Rhodes was hired by the Blackburn Rovers for £ 8 million. He scored 26 goals in his first Championship season.
Scottish national team ( 2011 - )
The son of the English professional football players Andy Rhodes spent as the player activities of his father several years in Scotland and received by the required player eligibility. His debut in the Scottish U -21, he celebrated on March 24, 2011 game against Belgium. His first three matches he succeeded in his fourth international match 5-1 over Luxembourg.
On November 11, 2011 Rhodes came off the bench in a 2-1 away win in Cyprus in the 87th minute for Jamie Mackie and thus debuted for Scotland.
