Football League Championship

The Football League Championship ( other names: The Championship (short form) or npower Football League Championship ( the official sponsor name) ) since the 2004/ 05 season, the second- highest division in English football after the Premier League. It has the First Division replaced. Within the Football League is the top division.

Structure

In the Football League Championship play 24 teams in a single round with back and leg. Every victory is rewarded with three points and each draw a dot. At the end of a season, the two top-ranked teams of the final table to rise directly to the Premier League.
