Glenn Murray ( born September 25, 1983 in Maryport ) is an English football player who is under contract with the second division side Crystal Palace since 2011.
Career
Carlisle United and Rochdale AFC
After his first stops at AFC Workington, Wilmington Hammerheads and the AFC Barrow 's 21- year-old Glenn Murray moved in December 2004 to fifth-tier Carlisle United and reached after a success in the play-off final of the 2004/05 season (1-0 against the Stevenage FC ) promotion to the fourth division. The season in the Football League Two 2005/ 06 ended the Movers & Shakers with Glenn Murray ( 26 league games / 3 goals ) as a master and thus secured the direct promotion to the third division. During the 2006/07 season he played on loan for the fourth division Stockport County and Rochdale AFC before moving on 4 January 2007 on a firm contractual basis according to Rochdale. Brighton & Hove Albion
